As we approach colder weather and the return of heating the home, this is a good time to service all your safety equipment located through out the home. This includes having your chimneys checked and or cleaned, changing the filters for your furnaces, change all the batteries in your smoke detectors, dust off that fire extinguisher that sits under the kitchen sink and have it checked, but most importantly, create an emergency plan.
